The best banana pancakes you could ever make. Tried and tested today and its too good not to share! These bad boys contain 25g of protein all without the need of protein powder.
These really remind me of my chocolate chip oat cups but higher protein and in a pancake form! So make sure to check those out too!
To make these banana pancakes you will need
1 Banana
1/2 cup of oats
1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
Dash of cinnamon
1 Egg
2 squares of MyProtein high protein chocolate -chopped
Coconut oil (too cook with)
What you need to do
- Put all ingredients into a blender and pulse until a batter has formed (if too thick then add some water and pulse again) stir in the chopped up chocolate bits.
- Heat a pan on a low heat with some coconut oil and wait for the pan to be hot.
- Add the mixture (2-3 teaspoons at a time) and cover the pan for a few minutes, or until bubbles start to form. Flip and cover again.
- Plate up and add whatever toppings you want!
