Hi I’m Scarlet! I’m a Registered Associate Nutritionist who specialises in non-diet nutrition. She uses the frame workout of Intuitive Eating to inform her practice.
Becoming a nutritionist wasn’t my first career choice, but something that I grew into wanting to become. When I started university I first wanted to become a counsellor, helping people with emotional issues. But over time, with my love of food and exercise becoming more apparent I knew that this is something that I wanted to help people with.
I first started to look into body image and the use of social media and how this has an effect us, which somehow lead me to the concept of Intuitive Eating.
Once I completed my undergrad in psychology, I went on to do a MSc in Clinical Nutrition leading me to where I am today. I have a passion for nutrition – helping people to truly fall back in love with food again.
Your body is your home. Cherish it.

Why I don’t offer weight loss advice
I suffered myself with disordered eating when I was younger, and it was only till I was 20 that I started to really overcome all of my food issues (as an example, I wouldn’t butter toast… I would eat dry toast….) I’ve always loved food, but would feel pressured to look or be a certain way. So while I totally understand why people will want weight loss advice, I want to help people to learn how to see food as their friend and learn to love themselves in the moment, rather than when they have reached their goal.
